WHO BUILDS THIS
Two people in Canada, and a phone number that reaches them.
Autofy Inc is a Canadian company, and the Special Order Tracker is the only thing we build. It started with one running store here that was tracking special orders on a spreadsheet called “Call When We Get In.” We do the setup and the support ourselves, and the number below reaches us.

Kav started in accounting, where he watched real days disappear into small repeat work: writing down the same thing twice, sending the same email for the fourth time that week. He started automating the parts that don't need judgment and leaving the parts that do alone. The tracker is that idea pointed at a shop floor: the board does the remembering, staff make the calls.

Noah van den Berg

Noah started out helping local businesses launch online stores, and kept finding the same thing underneath: the “marketing problem” was usually an operations problem. He built the first special-order board for City Park Runners, a running store here in Winnipeg, and it is what every one of their special orders goes through now. Our editorial standards
Vendor facts come from the vendor
When a post says what Shopify, Lightspeed, WooCommerce or any other system does, it links to that vendor's own documentation and gives the date we read it. If their page doesn't say it, we don't either.
Screenshots show a demo store
Product screenshots come from Waypoint Running Co, a demo store filled with sample customers and sample numbers. We say so wherever a post points at one. Stock photos are never presented as our product.
No invented numbers
Every statistic is sourced. A number we can't source comes out of the sentence rather than being estimated.
We make Autofy, and we say so
The blog is written by the people who build the tracker. Posts that compare it with other tools say that up front.
Corrections are dated
When a fact, a vendor verdict or a recommendation in a post changes, the post shows an updated date. We don't change the date to make a post look fresh.
A person reads every post
Drafts are reviewed and approved by hand before they are published. Nothing goes live on its own.
