Interactive demo running on sample data. Click into the pipeline, open an order, try the search, nothing here touches a real store.

01 · Problem

What wasn't working.

Special-order shoes, customer requests for models the store didn't stock, moved through a mix of paper notes, staff memory, and Shopify order tags. Nothing tracked where an order was in the pipeline or when it was ordered. Customers followed up with staff who had to dig to figure out status. As order volume grew, so did the risk of dropped requests.

02 · Solution

What we built.

An internal dashboard connected to Shopify via webhooks, with a triage view for today's actions, aging color codes so nothing sits stale, a kanban pipeline from request → ordered → arrived → picked up, threaded notes on every order, global search across customer + product + status, and a public status page the store can send to customers.

03 · Outcome

What changed.

$200K

per year

Custom-order revenue now tracked

System replacing paper, memory + tags

Pipeline stages, request → picked up

Special orders were always real revenue, they just weren't visible. Now every dollar of it moves through one tracked pipeline.

  • Roughly $200K a year in special orders now tracked end-to-end, instead of living in paper notes, staff memory, and Shopify tags
  • Any staff member can answer "where's my order?" in seconds, no digging
  • Aging alerts surface stale orders before a customer has to chase them
  • Built as a productized tool, ready to white-label for other specialty retailers

Note · Built as a productized tool. Available for other specialty retailers on request.
